It's Giving Tuesday! Give a gift that keeps on giving...

In this season of giving thanks, we are grateful for all our members and the work you do with all of the students and families you serve. PCACAC endeavors to provide excellent professional development to members in a variety of settings each year. With each passing year, budgets get tighter making it hard for members to take part in our events. In an effort to create more scholarship opportunities and fund more events for members, we are participating in our first annual Giving Tuesday event.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many of us focus on our holiday and end-of-year giving. Today we invite you to consider PCACAC in your end-of-year giving. Text PCACAC to 50155 to offer a donation to PCACAC's General Fund.

If you'd like to support our 2018 Conference, you can give any amount by texting PCACAC53 to 50155.  To partner with us on a specific conference event, visit www.pcacac.org for the 2018 Prospectus and Sponsoring and Advertising form.

Thank you for your commitment to our organization!

NACAC Resources for Affiliates

The State of College Admission Report
Examining the transition from high school to postsecondary education through survey data collected from colleges and universities across the country. Free webinar is Thursday:

In response to the growing need in communities across the country, the Caribbean, South Asia, and Mexico, NACAC has created a digital resource to assist counselors working with students affected by catastrophic events. Since NACAC began surveying colleges and universities, more than 140 institutions have provided campus contacts and a direct link to information on their websites for students affected by the hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and earthquakes.

We urge school counselors, community-based counselors, independent counselors, and others on the high school side to use this tool to assist impacted students as they make their college plans.

Colleges and universities who wish to add their information may do so by filling out a short survey.
