New Resource Highlights Colleges and Universities Helping Students Affected by Natural Disasters

In response to the growing need in communities across the country, the Caribbean, South Asia, and Mexico, NACAC has created a digital resource to assist counselors working with students affected by catastrophic events.

Since last week when NACAC began surveying colleges and universities, many institutions have provided campus contacts and a direct link to information on their websites for students affected by the hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and earthquakes.

We urge school counselors, community-based counselors, independent counselors, and others on the high school side to use this tool to assist impacted students as they make their college plans.

Colleges and universities who wish to add their information may do so by filling out a short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XFWFZKM

Thank you!
